The Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (Kerala) was formed to establish Educational Institutions in various professional fields to provide facilities for Education and Training. The Co-operative Academy of Professional Education is promoted by the Co-operation Department of the Government of Kerala and is an autonomous society under Government of Kerala.

To provide facilities and promote Education & Training. Research & Development, Consultancy & Related Services of International Standards.

Under CAPE there are Seven Engineering Colleges, One Medical College, One Nursing College, One Nursing School, One Management Institute and One Finishing School apart from a Hospital at Punnapra.

Engineering College

Medical college

Spread our 60 acres in a serene ambience, 500 bed Hospital, 24 Hour services includes Casualty, Accident care, Trauma care service, Spiral CT scan, Dialysis unit, X-ray unit, Neonatology care unit etc.

Management Institute

IMT’s MBA programme provides opportunity for an intensive and intellectually challenging advanced study of Management, combining both theoretical modules and practical exposure. The Institute believes in participatory learning rather than conventional teaching. The pedagogy includes case studies, panel discussions, seminars, business games, role plays, organisation studies and interaction with Managers and Entrepreneurs. Exposure to industry and interaction with the practicing Managers through the summer placement and final project study enable the students to get a real feel of the functioning of the organisation. The highlightsof the Institute include Intensive corporate interactions, Emphasis on soft skill training, State of the art facilities for videoconference, English language lab & digital Library.
